Loving nature and its beauty inspires most of my work. With sketchbooks and paints on hand, I lived in national parks, the Southwest, and later traveled in Australia, Europe, and Tahiti. These experiences, as well as living in beautiful Washington, provide endless subjects to paint. While creating my art, be it realistic, impressionistic or abstract, I select from a variety of mediums including pencil, pen and ink, watercolor, oil and acrylic paints.
“A finished work of art should allow the viewer to escape into the scene, feel the warmth and coolness, inhale the fresh air and fragrances of nature, and for that moment, be completely at peace”.
